Mike has been married to Beckie, the love of his life, for thirty-seven years. They have three adult children, one daughter and two sons, and six grandchildren. Mike practiced accounting in Shawnee, Oklahoma for twenty-seven years. In 2003, the Halls began a new season in life; stepping away from their past roles and beginning a fresh journey in ministry as missionaries. They have served in Central and Eastern Europe before returning to the Rio Grande Valley in January 2008.

Mike serves as Executive Pastor at B T McAllen. His role has been described as the "spoke of the wheel" for all BT ministries. Although there is a substantial administrative component to his daily routine, his passion is seeing men and women, young adults, students, and children explore the depths and riches of the new life in Jesus. His prayer continues to be "that according to the riches of His glory He may grant you to be strengthened with power through His Spirit in your inner being, so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith."
