Barbara is a single mom with two great children, a wonderful daughter in law and 3 awesome grandchildren.   Barbara has lived in the valley for over 20 years and has adapted to the culture and the people.  She came onto the staff at BT in 1999.  Primarily, her duties involved setting up a Media/Communications Department and Web site for the church.  She has since served in the Pastoral Ministry Assistant role to both Senior Pastor, Trevor Carpenter and Executive Pastor, Michael Hall.  Barbara has studied Theology through both LOGOS College out of Florida and Howard Payne University through the South Texas School of Christian Study in Corpus. 

As BT McAllen grows and the various needs of our ministries and our church body grow, we are in need of a spokesperson who will be able to help people get connected with one another.  Barbara’s role as Volunteer Coordinator will do just that.  She will be able to use her communication skills and her love for God’s people in such as a way as to help make BT a healthy body of believers.   Barbara will help individuals discover their Spiritual Gifts and then discover how best to utilize those gifts to bring glory and honor to our Lord, Jesus Christ.  Jesus set the example on how to serve  - now we, as His children, need to follow in His footsteps.
